All the Custom Wheels that we sell at Comtires, come with the Manufacturer Warranty. This is a Limited warranty that is only honored by the manufacture itself.

 

This warranty normally covers two issues:

 

Finish Warranty. if the chrome, paint coat, or finish application peals off, presents bubbles that are expanding over the time, fading parts, etc, that are NOT due to an improper use or cleaning of the wheels, then this warranty is applicable. Almost all manufacturers offer this kind of warranty and it can be for one to three years after the date of purchase. Each company has its own criteria to honor the warranty.

 

Structural Warranty. If the wheel cracks or breaks due to manufacture deffect, this warranty is applicable. This is something that only the manufacturer can asses and decide to honor or not the warranty.

 

COMTIRES CORPORATION WOULD BE ONLY AN INTERMEDIATOR BETWEEN THE WHEEL MANUFACTURER AND THE FINAL CUSTOMER. ALL DECISIONS AND OUTCOMES FOR WARRANTY CLAIMS ARE SOLELY A RESPONSIBILITY OF THE WHEEL MANUFACTURER.

 

How the Warranty works

 

• Customer has to bring to Comtires Corporation the damaged or defective wheel, or wheels, unmounted with no tire. A copy of the original invoice must be presented.

• Comtires Corporation will send the wheel to the manufacturer for inspection. If the manufacturer is more than 25 miles away from Comtires, Customer will be charged for the shipping.

• Once the Wheel Manufacturer has a decision on the warranty and once its informed to Comtires, Comtires will notify the Customer.

• If Wheel Manufacturer decides NOT to honor the warranty, Comtires will explain the reasons why to the Customer. Customer would have to pay for the shipping back of the wheel(s) if applicable.

• If the Wheel Manufacturer decides to honor the warranty, it will notify us and we will notify the Customer if a new wheel or credit will be sent.

 

In any situation Comtires will guide you through the Warranty Claim.
